We learn more about being a Cub

Today we post our final interview with our Cubs. We took to KZN where Sinenhlanhla Mfolozi (10) and thousands of other children enjoy the Cub Programmes. We spoke to Sinenhlanhla about the fun of learning to be a Cub at the Sithandiwe Cub Pack.

SinenhlanhlaSSA: Why is Cubbing so much fun?
It is so much fun because we are going to Cubs every Saturday and learn more about being a Cub.

SSA: What was your best experience with Cubs?
When we went to the Scout rally. That was my best experience!

SSA: What is the weirdest thing you ate outdoors?
I ate bush berries outdoors.

SSA: What was the most amazing place you visited with Cubs?
We went to Hammarsdale with the Cubs, which was amazing!

SSA: Can you name a few things you have learnt by being a Cub?
I learnt to respect adults.

SSA: What things have you done with Cubs to help people in your community?
We gave food and clothing to other people who needed them.

SSA: What did you teach your mum that you learned at Cubs?
I taught my mum how to do gardening and plant vegetables.

SSA: What makes a good Akela?
Keeping her Cubs happy is what a good Akela makes.

SSA: Why is your Akela special?
Akela is so special because she makes us happy.

Cubbing Rocks because … we are together and that is why we don’t fight!
