Lucky Charms Scouts Group Based at D. P Moloto Special School took part in a community service Project as part of their National Nature Challenge Tasks

On the early morning of a Friday Scouts gathered together and prepared their plots planted cabbages and beetroots to start on their food Gardening projects

The Scouts chose those two specific vegetables considering that the school’s curriculum ( agricultural studies) takes pride in their spinach production every year,this time around they opted for something different new

Our Scouts who study agricultural Studies ensured they shared knowledge with those were new to the Process of Food Gardening to help them understand how to make an impact on the environment through responsible consumption, and how to make better choices and develop sustainable habits and behaviours.
